Don Number 1 HD Movie Download: Watch the Action Thriller Online

You can't download movies and TV shows on Apple TV, smart TVs, and other streaming devices with the Apple TV app. You can stream movies and TV shows that you purchased. Just open the Apple TV app and go to your library.

I am simply trying to play my movie on my school projector and it only allows me to project SD versions of movies. I downloaded the HD version by mistake, so now I don't see a way to change it to SD. I will purchase it again if I need to, but something tells me there should be a way to get the SD version even though I have the HD version??? I tried deselecting the option at the bottom. I tried clicking on the cloud icon. It still downloads only the HD version.

You can also choose to buy an SD movie or TV show, but it won't include iTunes Extras, or 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision formats even if you later play it on a device that supports those. To buy an SD video, tap or click "Also Available in SD" on the product page to switch to the SD version, then buy it.

Now that you know you can download tons of content, you might be wondering where it will be stored. While mobile tablets have seen an increase in local storage over the past few years, the 2017 Fire HD 10 only has a 32 or 64 GB version. Depending on how you use the device, either one would be plenty of storage, that is, unless you want to have a stacked library of your favorite movies and TV shows. You can increase your storage space greatly by installing a microSD card.

Netflix and other streaming companies say your internet service needs to run at least 5 Mbps for streaming high-definition shows and movies, but that's sufficient for only one user at a time. As you can see from the chart above, 18 Mbps is really the minimum speed most homes will need for streaming 4K movies and TV shows from Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. (Netflix recommends a 25 Mbps speed for streaming 4K, while Amazon says you'll need at least 15 Mbps for the highest-quality video.)

The good news is that networks are getting faster. The average download speed in the U.S. jumped 35 percent last year, topping 95 Mbps, according to Ookla. That's the company behind Speedtest, a tool consumers can use to measure their home's internet speed. Fast download speed is critical for watching streaming movies and TV shows at home.

You need at least 600 GB of data per month to do all the activities you usually do online without worrying about overage charges or network slowdowns. That could include anything from firing off tweets to downloading video games to streaming movies and shows.

Over time, movies can accumulate and take up a lot of space on your Mac's hard drive, especially when you're downloading high-definition (HD) videos. Your operating system (OS) needs a certain amount of free space to function well, and too much clutter can affect performance and slow down your device. If your hard drive's looking a little full, deleting movies and other unused files can make your system run much more smoothly.

If you're running a macOS version earlier than Catalina, you may still use the iTunes application. If that's the case, you can remove movies directly from your library. To delete videos from iTunes, follow these steps:

With the ever-increasing rise in video quality, movies tend to be some of the largest files on your Mac. Therefore, when you need to free up space, targeting any unneeded movies, TV shows, or home videos will usually do the trick.

Many things can contribute to slow download speed and figuring out the underlying problem to your slow connection can sometimes be tricky. While it may be a simple fix like checking your internet speed or restarting your computer, some solutions are more complex.

Download speed refers to how many megabits (Mbps) per second it takes your server to download data to your device. Files, videos, images, and text are all forms of downloads. Any applications you use on your devices, like Spotify, Instagram, and YouTube, all require you to download data.

According to the Broadband Speed Guide from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC), download speeds of at least 25 Mbps are considered good download speeds. But how can you increase download speed if yours is slow?

Depending on your service provider, your internet connection may not be able to handle large downloads. Slow download speed can be frustrating and it may be worth it to upgrade to a plan with higher speeds, especially if your household has multiple people and devices. Explore your options and see if there are packages available that can support a higher volume of data.

The more people and devices you have connected to your internet, the slower the connection can be. When downloading, try disconnecting any other devices, like smart TVs, iPads, and phones for the time being. This may increase your internet and download speed significantly.

Similarly, you should disable any applications on your device when downloading. The applications you have running on your computer can take up a good chunk of your bandwidth, which can contribute to slower speeds. For example, video streaming services like Netflix use a heavy amount of bandwidth. Temporarily disable the apps and see if that helps.

The modem you have is typically provided by your service provider. Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your modem. If your download speed has been significantly slow and you saw no change in speed after restarting, it may be time for a new modem.

The location of your router can have a major impact on your download speed as well. Be mindful of where you are placing your router as some areas in your home may not have a strong connectivity signal. If you have a large house, consider getting Wi-Fi extenders that can boost the range and increase your internet speed.

Viruses on your device can cause a multitude of issues. These viruses can run in the background, using your internet and increasing your bandwidth usage, which results in slow download speed. To prevent this, consider installing antivirus software to protect yourself from viruses, malware, and other online threats.

Cache is what stores your internet data to help website browsers and apps load faster. Sometimes your browser cache will become full and can cause download speeds to run slower. While you may not want to clear your cache completely, you can choose what data to clear. You can clear your browsing history, computer cookies, and cached images and files.

The Federal Communications Commission1 (FCC) recommends at least 25 Mbps of download speed, which will allow you to check your email, browse the internet and watch a video, but on one device at a time.

So what speed is right for you? The best download and upload speeds for you depend on how you use the internet at home. More than 90% of Allconnect readers who took our internet speed quiz stream TV daily, and more than 25% stream Ultra HD daily, which means fast internet speeds to them are closer to 100 Mbps.

Download speed is how fast your internet connection can transfer data from a server to you. Download speeds are important for downloading files, loading a website, streaming a video or streaming music. Upload speed is how fast your internet connection can transfer your data to a server. Upload speeds are important for sending emails, sending files to other people, live video chats and gaming.

4K versions of streaming movies typically cost more than even their HD counterparts, usually around $30 per movie. Early adopters, as usual, got the raw end of the deal since they had to repurchase all their movies in 4K if they want to add them to their collection, even though they already own the HD version. Talk about double and triple dipping.

But things are suddenly starting to look up since Apple joined the 4K party. Ever the market disruptor, Apple managed to force the movie studios to drop iTunes 4K movie prices down to $19.99. And better yet, all the HD flicks in your iTunes movies collection are automatically upgraded to include the 4K version for free!

If you have desktop software in place to download YouTube videos, such as 4K Video Downloader, try that. Most of the tools that work for YouTube, Vimeo, and others also work with Facebook URLs. But there are other methods.

Paste in the Facebook URL you snagged by selecting Copy Link from the ellipsis menu. The site will parse all content for you and provide links to grab either the "Normal Quality" version (the same as you get with the steps above) or an "HD Quality" video. I used it to grab a movie trailer and the normal quality was a blocky 4.6MB file; the HD was a gorgeous 27MB file.

If you use the Google Chrome browser and find you're using FDown.net a lot, consider grabbing its extension called Video Downloader PLUS(Opens in a new window). It puts a download button right on the video if it's downloadable. That is, however, one of many extensions from many developers that allow Facebook downloads. Try out a few and pick a favorite.

Find a video on Facebook (in any browser). If it's a Reels video, you an probably click the ellipsis to get a Copy Link. Otherwise, click the option to Share it. At the share screen, look for the option to Copy Link. Open Firefox, load FDown.net, paste in the URL, and press download.
